THANK YOU!

Our mission to protect the world’s oceans and the amazing marine life that lives within them is only made possible by our wonderful supporters.

We would especially like to thank the following organisations for their significant contributions towards our charitable work:

Merlin Entertainments Group

The SEA LIFE Trust was originally set up by Merlin Entertainments in 2012. Since then we have steadily grown and gained credibility as a charity in our own right, but still benefit hugely from Merlin’s generous support. This includes pro-bono office space at Merlin’s HQ in Poole and enthusiastic fundraising from their staff. Merlin also promotes our charity in most of their SEA LIFE Centres around the world, raising awareness about our work as well as funds to pay for our projects.

We are also extremely grateful for Merlin’s significant donation towards our new SEA LIFE Trust Beluga Whale Sanctuary in Iceland. Without their help, this world- first project would not have been possible.

MARU Swimwear

MARU Swimwear, a British performance swimwear brand, has partnered with the SEA LIFE Trust in a bid to tackle ocean plastic. MARU is very generously donating 100% of profits from the sales of their new Ecotech swimwear range, Black Pack, to the SEA LIFE Trust to help fund our global plastic reduction projects and campaigns.

Each swimsuit in the Black Pack range is being manufactured out of ECONYL®, a fibre made of 100% regenerated nylon fibre from pre and post-consumer waste, including ghost fishing nets, nylon scraps and carpet fluff found in our oceans. Why not take a look at the new range at https://www.maruswim.com/sustainability.html.

The H.B. Allen Charitable Trust

The H.B. Allen Charitable Trust has made an extremely generous gift of £58,000 to our Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Gweek. The grant will help fund the specialist animal care team, who look after the injured seal pups, nursing them back to health before they can be released back to their homes in the sea.

If you would like to find out how you, or your organisation, can get involved with the SEA LIFE Trust, please get in touch by contacting help@sealifetrust.com. We’d be delighted to hear from you.
