SEA LIFE Trust is proud to announce the continued partnership with Swedish outdoor heritage brand, Tretorn for 2021/22.
Following the success of their SS20 Eco Essentials range, the brand have teamed up with SEA LIFE Trust again this year to launch their limited edition rain boot, with all proceeds going to the SEA LIFE Trust to help the marine charity’s efforts protecting the world’s oceans.
The SEA LEVEL RE-BOOT features a measuring stick which highlights one of climate changes biggest consequences, rising sea levels. The top measure, dated 2050, is a reminder that if changes are not made now, the boots won’t keep you dry by 2060.
“The world needs a reboot. Because if we don’t change, the planet will. By the year 2050, sea levels may rise by 26cm. A fact which is very difficult to grasp”.
The SEA LEVEL RE-BOOT is made of FSC certified natural rubber and recycled materials in both sole and lining. This is Tretorn’s most iconic boot – produced with a smaller footprint.
Based on a shared mission to protect the world’s oceans, the collaboration is born from a mutual passion to conserve the planet and our oceans.
Founded in 1891, innovation and functionality have always been at the heart of Tretorn’s philosophy, resulting in high quality, contemporary products designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the Swedish outdoors. Tretorn’s continued support of the SEA LIFE Trust is a continuation too of the brand’s mission, making a positive impact on how we interact with nature.
“We’re delighted that Tretorn are supporting the SEA LIFE Trust again in our mission to protect the world’s oceans with the launch of the SEA LEVEL RE-BOOT. The boot’s message is simple; with the measuring stick being such an effective way to highlight sea level rises and we applaud Tretorn’s commitment to making a positive difference”.
